How many people claim they are opposed to crime, but come up with long justifications for illegal connections and other forms of electricity theft?

Usually the argument is that electricity is a basic right, and poor people cannot afford it. But, the fact remains that South Africa’s future cannot be built on a foundation of theft. South Africa cannot fund a better life for all its citizens by criminal means.

The message needs to get out there. Electricity theft remains a crime, no matter how great the need.
